The Woods Gifts is a proud contributor of the I Support the Girls organization. Both of our stores are collection points where monetary donations can be made at our registers and products can be placed in our drop boxes. Additionally, The Woods Gifts will periodically host events where a percentage of our revenue will be donated to the cause. Girls and women experiencing homelessness do not have access or cannot afford to replace old bras and often have to choose between buying a hot meal or paying for a box of menstrual hygiene products. By denying them their basic necessities, we are taking away their dignity and self-respect.
ISTG collects these products, sorts them and then distributes them via local organizations which have been previously vetted.
What Types of Products
- ISTG accepts all kinds of bras - due to health precautions, we can only accept new bras at this time. We accept all sizes of bras from training bras to custom made, extremely large bras.
- ISTG accepts menstrual hygiene products - any brand or size - as long as they are individually sealed. We also accept new sealed cups, which we can distribute.
- Our biggest need which would have the most impact? Overnight maxi pads with wings.
