We're excited to announce that during our Holiday Walk in the Woods event on Saturday, November 22, we will be featuring author Lori Evert at a book signing from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. We are reading her book The Christmas Wish during the storytelling portion of the event from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The Christmas Wish, a New York Times' Best Seller, tells the story of a little girl discovering the true meaning of Christmas. Set in the 1800s in Norway, the girl sets out to become one of Santa's Elves. With the help of some friendly animals, she is able to follow her dream. Stunning photography illustrates the book and draws in readers as they follow along her journey.
We are so excited Lori, her husband, Per Breiehagen, and daughter, Anja, are able to join us. Per is an award-winning photographer who illustrated the book with his photographs of Anja.
